For anyone interested, SuperSprings International is currently offering 15% off there spring kits for all Toyota 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Land Cruiser. This is for the month of September, use the coupon code TOYOTABETTER at check out.

I have the black Sumo's and love them. Install and forget, no maintenance, no worries. I have no ties to the company or anyone involved with them, just a satisfied customer passing on a way to save some money to anyone interested.

Did a quick check on site and unfortunately the bump stops are for Tacoma, not Tundra. Bummer, may have been interested in those.

Your check may have been a bit too brief.

They should work on Tundras too; our trucks don't use the nut though.

Do you happen to know the thread pitch for the tundra bump stops?

Interesting, when I put my trucks specifics in the bump stops showed up but only mentioned Tacoma. Will have to investigate further.

Wondering now if there is an option that is a bit less expensive?

Really been thinking about the blues. My trailer will have about a 500lb tongue weight and I figure I’ll be right at GVWR loaded up. My truck is stock and will stay that way door now. Anyone have any experiences with the blue SumoSprings?

Wheeler’s Super Bumps are awesome in the front. I had them in a Tacoma and will get another set for my Tundra eventually.

Why did you select black? Are you towing or have a camper shell and tent? I am planning to pick up a set.

I do have a boat maybe 4500lbs and occasionally stop at the builders store for supplies, I'm sure sometimes I end up slightly overloaded. Memorial day weekend 2020 my wife and I headed up north loaded with vacation stuff and on the way hit a big dip in the road, the back of the truck really bounced, probably bottomed out the suspension. I decided then help was needed.

I spent some time investigating the three colors and quickly ruled out the yellow, but the decision between blue and black was a difficult one. After talking to the guy at SuperSprings International who said if I wasn't happy with them I could exchange them for the other color. Once you replace the factory bump stop bracket with the Sumo bracket the Sumosprings just thread on, so simple to remove one and replace with different color spring.

I don't feel like my truck rides to ruff (unloaded) with the black Somos, it may not be as smooth as stock but I don't have a problem with it. When carrying a load they are the cats meow.

Good Luck! Hope you like them as much as I do.

I back ordered ordered a set of the blue and will be towing a 3800lb dry/5000lb max travel trailer. I’m hoping they will be just enough to keep me level when loaded. Stock suspension with a light roll up tonneau.

I took your advice on the black and pulled the trigger. Can you remember the torque spec on the u- bolts? I can look it up but I’m hoping you remember. I think I saw 80lbs somewhere.

The torque spec I came up with was 74lbs, not really sure if that's the exact figure.

Possibly of more importance I'm of the understanding the the u-bolts are a stretch once application requiring replacement not reuse.
