This may seem weird but I'm having issues with my Samsung super fast charger charging through the 120 volt outlet. The problem is it will charge for a few minutes and then sort of just stop. The percentage won't go up or down it'll just maintain. So if it's charges up to 48%, it'll just stay there, for hours. I've tried different charging ports, I've tried those charging ports in my house, and there's no issues charging, only in the vehicle.

Anyone know if this is an issue with how the 120 volt works? Should I just stick to normal chargers?

I've heard that most "120" receptacles in vehicles are rarely putting out above 110vac. And, that may not be pure sine.
Many of these newer chargers have management IC in them, and between analyzing the device being charged, temperature, load and possibly analyzing the "wall" power, they can decide to throttle down, and since they don't communicate to the outside world, no way to know....

I try to buy OEM 12v high speed chargers, cig lighter style, if they make them. That way, they're compatible with the core power of your vehicle, ruling out inverter issues, and if you have constantly powered 12v outlets, you don't have to consider the conditions and inefficiencies of inverting 12v.....
