I had Alcan’s and unfortunately had issues. Wasn’t sure if there was another besides Deaver. That’s the route I’m going unless something else pops up to be considered. Thank you!

You could do a 3in leaf conversion. 3 in leafs will support the weight better.

Never heard of that. Point me somewhere for some research to start if you don’t mind?

I’m curious what issues you had with alcan. When searching for information and specifications Deaver was absolutely no help to me at all. Neither was toytec. Alcan gave me good information and excellent service.

I want to be super clear here that for me Alcan’s didn’t work. But even though they didn’t work for me their customer service was incredible and they may work for someone else.
Mine went flat after just one season. But before that, the set they built for me was the wrong capacity, and Bill had to drive another pair from about 4hrs away to get me back in the road for a trip that next weekend. I roll heavy and maybe outside of what they expect/build for a tundra, so at the end of the day it didn’t work for me.

    Evan,
Thanks for the information. Would you be willing to give more details?
My Alcan leaf springs were custom made for me based on a 1100lb static load. 8 leaves on the passenger side and 9 on the driver side. This made up for the 46g transfer tank, battery, and my fat ass, all located on the driver side of the truck.
    Everything works well

@gosolo OP is talking about the same issue that all tundra owners that carry that much weight all the time have. Their leaf spring flatten out. This happens faster when off roading. You can help it by adding bags but then you loose some off road capabilities. this is why I suggested 3in spring conversion to the OP. They hold up better to weight compared to the tundra's 2.25in springs.

Yo if you're near Denver, look at Denver Spring & Suspension. They can redo your current pack and add leafs etc to get you there.

Also, Alcan is in Grand Junction...

Am aware of the situation. The modifications to a tundra to accommodate the 3”deavers are substantial and irreversible. I don’t recommend that solution unless someone expects to completely beat up their truck before they would ever sell or trade it.
