Finally joined and first post after stalking tundras.com for years.

So, the short version of the back story is my 2016 CrewMax was stolen and recovered a few weeks later with enough interior damage that the insurance totaled it.... I've opted to buy it back since it's 99% interior damage only and relatively easily repaired.

Unfortunately the insurance isn't covering my aftermarket speakers and amps that were all stolen. The original system was still using the factory HU and harness. I've already re-wired everything including homeruns to each speaker location. Should have the Alpine iLX-F509 next week. I'll probably go back with the Digital Designs speakers, amps, and subs I had before, but I'm not sure what I'll need besides the Maestro to keep my steering wheel controls. Will I run into issues by not having some connections to the old harness that was under the passenger seat for the factory amp (non JBL)? I wasn't planning to replace it due to the cost, but it was cut.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks to both of you. I failed to mention that I've read through that thread, but unless I missed something it doesn't address the harness question. Will the missing harness under the DS seat to the old factory amp cause any issues? The plug was completely cut off.

If you're installing an aftermarket radio, what do you need the harness for? Wouldn't you just be running the RCAs, power, ground and power on signal to the amp location?

Is your intent to power all speakers via your amp? If so, you won’t have a single issue, just configure the maestro module for aftermarket amp configuration.
