I ordered everything from "The big 3/4" upgrade post (nicely done), but I have an additional question, actually two. I ordered all 1/0 wiring and now I'm thinking I should send it back and get 2/0 in it's place (only 15.00 more), thoughts? I wonder if it's over kill or worth while since I'm doing it all and the price is not much different. Also, for those who have tackled this project how long did it take? My Tundy is my only vehicle and I need to factor that in when planning.

I was looking at an LActrical 300amp alternator on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z5FS6WV?_encoding=UTF8)
I know it's no 600.00 DC Alternator but maybe it's better than stock? Any opinions would be much appreciated -Thanks!

One more thing, I was thinking of doing the diode upgrade, since I'm dropping in an ODYSSEY 31 AGM Battery (1150cca), too.

@Cruzer I just read your write up and I must say that makes things sooooo much clearer on what I need to do. Feeling much confidence now. So, I'm sending back the 1/0 and getting the 2/0 for the LAlectrical 300amp alt. The kit I ordered is 10ft black 10ft red, I'm thinking that should be enough with some to spare. Can you recall how long this whole process takes? Are you running the GM diode upgrade after this? Thanks again man...

Yeah I have the GM diode on and it hits the right 14.5 volts. I think it took about an hour to upgrade the cables. 2 hours for the alternator swap.
