Anyone ever had check engine code 0974? It's shift solenoid a which is the s1 solenoid. Does anyone know of anything else it would throw that code for besides a bad solenoid or connection before I tear into it. I checked and The fluid level is good in it. Also where do the solenoids connect at, is it inside the pan or can I check the connection and check the resistance and voltage without pulling the pan off? Thanks for any input.

Guess I should also add that the truck is a 2009 5.7 4x4. There is no slipping or anything just very limited on power. Almost as if its trying to take off in a higher gear when in D. But runs normal if put into manual mode and shift through gears

I think i have figured out that I need to test resistance on the d63 no. 1 transmission wire connector. I can't find anything online about its location or find it on the truck. Anyone know of its location?
