Greetings all! I an newly signed in to the site but have gleaned excellent information from so many posters on this site over the years.

I have '08 Sequoia SR5 that I bought through Copart several years ago. It was wrecked but I have managed to get it into good working condition. She's ugly but runs with absolutely no issues. Everything works great except... the remote keyless entry.

I tried getting a fob and programmer through Tom's. Went through all the steps, the fob was successfully programmed but the truck had no response. I decided to take a deeper dive.

This site proved to be invaluable in my research. I was able to determine the location of the keyless receiver (rear, left side pillar) as well as the beeper/buzzer (left front, behind the grille). Well, where those 2 modules are supposed to be. LOL. The wiring harness and connector are there.

My question to you all is, can I just install the receiver and beeper and not make any other mods besides programming the fob?
