Has anyone had to replace the oil pump on 08 crewmax?? My engine started to knock. Took it to garage and was told it could be lifters or oil pump so i decided to change oil pump. This was about 3 months ago. Ever since i have had a small oil leak. I check my oil every 3 days or so and its never low. Took it back to garage and they tried to fix but failed. I ask them about gasket and was told there is not a gasket its silicone. Is there a gasket to seal the oil pump and is it common to use silicone?????
