I'm new to this. I have been researching how to change fluid in my 07 tundra. I have heard about flushing, also draining and changing filter and refilling with WS. There were a couple other methods suggested. Not sure what to do with my 07 SR5 -5.7. It's got 205K wonderful miles on it and I never touched the trans except to use it. I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix might apply here but she's getting old. Can anybody give me some advice here?

Many do a drain and refill, gets about 25% new fluid into the mix. 90k mile recommended in manual. Kind of tricky DIY, many get done at shop.

A flush can be done, replacing all the fluid, not DIY unless your a mechanic. Some think this unwise, could stir up trash otherwise left alone, some claim no issues.

With that many miles, a pan drop and filter change probably in order as well as a drain and fill at minimum.

There are also synthetics that are compatible with WS, which also should be better than WS.

Shop prices seem to vary quit a bit, call around for best pricing.

There are some YouTube videos as well.

    Good luck
