I am having a problem with my Toyota Tundra 2007 5.7L. It is not starting, there is a single click and that’s it. The battery is good. This all happened in one day, my truck was starting up great in the morning and then I go to start it up again and then boom this issue occurs. On top of that all of my dash gauges do not activate when I turn the key. I checked all of my ignition fuses, I also replaced the starter relay. I have feeling this is a wiring issue I’m just not sure the best way to diagnose it. Any suggestions?

This happen to me about a month ago...the one click and no start. It ended up being my battery terminals. The wires were dirty but the connections looked ok, didn't think it would be it but upon reading old threads on here and talking with my brother (who also owns a 2nd gen Tundra), I went ahead and started at the battery connections. I replaced one of the terminals and used a wire brush to clean off the rest of the connections. Started right up after that.

Did your dash gauges work when you were having this issue with your tundra?

It was sporadic, at first all my gauges worked. After trying a few more times, it stopped lighting up after each attempt. And after a random attempt and I got the truck started, my 4LO and traction control lights were blinking, these light never blinked before. All of these problems went after I replaced one battery terminal and wire brushed all of the other battery connections til it was shiny.
