i have a 2023 Trd Pro with the Kings 2.5” and Total Chaos UCA Lift Kit. Parts KRS-25001-396 A, KRS-25001-397 A and TTC-87502.

thought i would get a little more lift from what was stock on the Pro trim. is there a way to check if, it’s calibrated for maximum lift, while remaining level and not impacting structural integrity?

    Good question.

As far as I know, the TRD Pro models come about 1" taller than stock. Most aftermarket shock companies are designing shocks for the most common platform and working around factory steering/cvs etc so they are limited on lengths for bolt on shocks.
However, for your question, yes we can help find out where the coilovers are at and if you are able to add more preload/lift.

With the truck sitting on flat level ground, we need to get shock length measurements. Use the shock diagram below (left shock). As accurate as you can get, the better. Based on the shock lengths we have, our max recommended length at ride height would be about 20.625". This number is using our formula to allow the shock to have the optimal amount of up/down travel and best ride quality. Of course, you can add as much preload/lift as you want, but ride quality and performance may suffer.

    thanks much for response.

from what i understood from the installer, the parts are specific to the trd pro trim vs other tundra trims since as you noted, the pro comes 1” higher stock.

I'm not clear to what this means. Your installer is telling you the King Shocks installed on your truck are TRD Pro specific?

The the part number you showed is not TRD Pro specific. To my knowledge there is no TRD Pro specific King Shock replacement available. No need for one really, unless they come with different front suspension geometry that allows for more travel, which I have not seen been the case. If they were purchased from us, we would have tuned them based on your vehicle weight and driving style.

Anywoo, if you are able to get those measurements that should help with your original question. There may be more room to add preload
