    Hi all,

I bought a 05 DC SR5 a few months back that and noticed some of the backlighting on the hvac controls were dark so I started the project of replacing everything with leds but I'm just looking for a sanity check here...

On the overhead console (sunroof model) the homelink buttons and the E/M button is not backlit correct? They appear to be just painted buttons but I just want to make sure they aren't burnt out.

Same question on the switches to the left of the steering wheel for the mirror controls, rear window up/down, and the gauge cluster dimmer. Those aren't backlit correct?

Lastly the door panel power window switches where it says "Auto" aren't backlit correct?

They all APPEAR to just be painted but I just want to make sure before I think I'm done with my LED conversion.

I found some videos on Youtube but they were earlier models and the bulbs didn't translate right to my 05.

So far I've replaced the T10/T5's in the HVAC panel, T10's in all the door courtesy lights, T5 in the drivers footwell, T5 in the glovebox, the map lights in the sunroof panel, the two maplights and the dome light behind the sunroof, and the rear outside cargo lights. Am I missing any other easy ones?

The overhead buttons have T4.2 bulbs one for each button. I replaced mine with LED however i did not find anyone that sold T4 LED bulbs that didnt fit loose. I had to transfer the LED to the factory bulb base. My seat heater switches were T3. I am currently trying to figure out the auto window switch and steering wheel controls back lights as well.
