0456 code , causing misfires ??

    0456 code evaporative emission control system leak , small leak . My question is , will this small leak cause my engine to idle rough and have misfires . It’s very inconsistent . Seems when the engine warms up it’s back to smooth , no problems . I shut it off and restart after a few minutes .
