i tested the compression in my 02 4.7 and the compression was around 180-190 at 9-10 cranks. does that sound good? i read that it should be in the range of 142-192 i was wondering if i should have tested it at a lower amount of cranks or is the way i tested it sufficient?

I assume your compression tester captures the highest level of compression as with every one I've ever used, and thus, your compression looks great. But I also recognize I haven't used every tester on the planet, so yours may differ. Either way, I'd be happy with those numbers.

I'd be happy with those numbers.

And I believe I've used the same tester as in the video. Stores the highest number, you're good.
