    Hey guys,

I have an first gen tundra I'm currently building up to become an "overland" rig. Current upgrades are:

    . 285s (ridge grapplers/32")
. Bilstine 5100s front and rear with OME springs on the front. (2" lift with leveling blocks in the rear)
    . 17" Method rims
. Firestone ride rite air bags
    . Icon add a leaf
    . Camburg UCAs
. Dual battery system set up and mounted in the bed
    . HID headlights retrofit kit

I have a Roof top tent (150lbs) ontop of a custom rack my welder buddy built (100lbs). And roughly 250lbs in camping gear filling the bed of the truck in pelican cases. Also, I am picking up rock rails along with a front and rear bumper from Brute Force Fab in the next month (roughly 400lbs total). Im gonna purchase a winch after I get the front bumper as well.

Now that you guys have a picture of what I'm working with I'm trying to figure out where to go from here.

    Questions:

Keep stock Gearing or change it to something like 4.56??

Front and rear lockers? Air or electronic? I know some of the pros and cons with the two like with the air locker it's instant where as electronic you might have to roll forwards/backwards sometimes to have it engage. But with the air lockers you need to mount a compressor somewhere. Any thoughts??

Also, any other upgrades for reliability? Or just in general?

    Thanks 20210509_164411.jpg 20210422_183836.jpg

4.56 is technically a little much for 285’s, however you’ll love them with all the extra weight. If you spend a ton of time on the highway just know the rpms will be a little higher
