this is starting to have my name on it. we are going to be talking very soon.

 

So about 3 hours in I’ve got old exhaust off and driver side completely buttoned up. Starting on passenger side now.

Man this is gonna be sweet! Cant wait to hear it! Turbo and the cutout! For that guy that pulls out in front of you on a 3 lane road and does 10 under the limit!

 

It’s done!!! The cut out isn’t necessary. It’s good and aggressive at lower rpm. But after about 2500 the backprwssure builds against the turbo and it gets quiet. So straight pipes it is

 

you're going to think i'm nuts. but any chance you offer these WITH the SAI pipes welded on... reason i ask is because they're threatening visual inspections on our vehicles for emissions testing.. (and i have NO idea what that entails or if it'll happen)

 

Oh wow. Old thread. We’ve sold hundreds of sets of long tubes for first gen tundras now!!!

unfortunately we can’t do air injection. But if your state requires a visual, typically the lack of cat’s and a check engine light is what fails. We can resolve both of those issues.

 

They don’t yet. But there’s a chance. I’m just not sure how in-depth they’ll look. Welding up the stock cats isn’t too much of an issue. I just can’t mimic the stock SAI tubes. Guess I’ll see what happens. We try getting rid of emissions and it didn’t pass, now the neighbors next door (Chicago) are pissed lol
