What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

3 months old with 700 miles. I’ve got a 2008 Trail Teams Edition FJ, I bought new 12 years ago with 20k miles on it. Lol

 

Oil change and tire rotation as well as ordered a driver's side grab handle kit. About ready to pull the trigger on 285/70-18 ridge grapplers.

 

Just got the call from Brenden owner of Precisionppf.com. He worked late AF (after 10pm) to finish up for me!

50% ceramic windshield, ripped out the cheaper 20% basic tint on the rest of the windows and put 18% ceramic SunTek film all the way around. He also installed clear bra on the grill surround, front lenses, the fender piece under the lenses, bumper caps, and bumper. He spent 3 hrs paint correcting (already! ) and then did two coats of Opti-Coat pro ceramic. Comes with a lifetime warranty and free once a year maintenance. He coated every damn thing for me. Wheels, exhaust tips, the windows, hell even the red coils! He reports the tint and ceramic to Carfax. Didn’t even know that was a thing!


Pulled the dent out left from the roof wrap install lol half of it is coated at this point. Adds just a touch of shine to it.


And installed the tint on the outer tail chrome sections only and cargo chrome sections. As you can see the vleds still shine pretty bright through them.



For my local TN enthusiasts I can’t recommend his shop enough!! It’s curing overnight in his shop I can’t wait to pick it up tomorrow!!

Finished up front bumper lights. OFFROADTOWN SAE fog light pods with black bezel screws powered by the original fog light circuit, RIGID D Series Pro Midnight Edition spot pods, and RIGID 30” E Series flood light bar.


New tires - 35/12.50 R17 BFGoodrich KM3

 

The panel originally had straps that came off the side and wrapped around the seat back, close to the base (in pic below).



These straps were not long enough so I ended up cutting them off and using a tri-glide in the bottom most molle strap on each side (see pic below). The tri-glide catches the molle webbing when the straps are tightened.



These tri-glides were attached to 1" nylon webbing and ran under the rear seat mounts. I'm not sure how well this will end up working because these mounts don't move with the seat. I'm gonna try and figure out a better way to attach it at the bottom.

 

Thanks Ron! Westin Outlaw Bumper. Cut the Westin bumper skid around the RCI engine skid, so I still have the RCI filter access. Turned out really good imo..

 

No, the skid does not come with the bumper, it’s optional. The bumper skid is the same thickness as the rest of my skids, it’s beefy.

Finally installed the new 2019 black headlights. .

 

Washed it and then gave it some ‘Merica. I must say that is a nice looking booty ... reflective too
