What motor oil are you all using in your Tundras?

 

I rotate between Mobil 1 and Quaker State UD.
7,500 mile changes

 

I started using amsoil signiture in the tundra and o.e for the prius

 

Been using Mobil 1... Last change, switched to Castrol Syntec, 3000 miles and I'm a qt low!!! Goin back to M1

 

Pennzoil Platinum 0-20 or Mobil 1

 

Always Mobil 1, 0-20.

 

Mobil1 0-20 here... only had my tundra long enough for 1 oil change, though.

 

Amsoil Signature Series 5W30 and filter every 5000 miles+ tire rotation and grease.

 

Mobil 1 0 20, Toyota filter.

 

Mobil1 0W20, OEM filter, Southern Ontario Canada. Do changes myself, thinking of getting a Fumoto valve.

 

Ive tried a bunch in mine. 0w-20 currently for the cold starts. 5w-30 is excellent though for summer. I really like how quiet the motor is with 30w.

Kendall GT-1 0w20

 

I tried 0w-40 and i swear it ran worse. Next time ill order 0w-30, as it is not carried in stores here

Switching to Amsoil 5W-30 for my 07 next change...

 

Where ya sourcing the Kendall? Buddy of mine told me about this oil as it was manufactured in his hometown.

Mobil 1 EP 0w20/ Toyota filter, I switched away from the Mobil 1 AFE two oil changes ago and the motor is a little quieter now.

 

This ^^^. But I already have the Fumoto on the oil drain pan and also have a Fumoto on the Jewett Performance oil filter housing cap.

All 4 oil changes to date on my 2017 with the 5.7 liter have been sent to Blackstone. I change at 10,000 miles . They suggest going to 13,000 miles. I stay at 10,000.

 

I work for an oil distributor, our main brand is Kendall and Phillips 66. I basically make my living off it, great stuff.

Right there w/ya. Just bought a bunch on sale actually.

 

Whatever 5w20 or 0w20 full synthetic is on sale/rebate. I have a FFV so I don't think brand will really matter on the 5k intervals.

 

Im gonna have to look into this, how does it compare to the Mobil 1?

 

Pennzoil platinum or mobil 1. I take advantage of the rebates so it's cheap as hell
