Damn you have more goodies than my limited. I wish I had the auto dim mirror with compass and temp and I wish I had an LSD.

Where you plug your code scanner tool? Should be clipped or mounted up under the lip below ignition ring vicinity.

Yep. I'm thinking the previous owner rigged this up. Possibly wire for trailer brake control?

Had a hell of a time getting the cluster back in. Finally realized it has to be done a specific way. Looks so much better with the green gone. May eventually go blue. Seems like there is a shady area between 60-80 mph but I confirmed all bulbs working. Sadly my D lamp wont work now. Will have to replace that. Ash try also.

Random question, those of you that monitor trans temps, what do you typically see? I added the ScanGauge a week ago, and the warmest reading I've seen is near 100, which seems awfully low. Granted, it has been bitterly cold outside too this week.

How much lift do you have to need the high angle boots?

Love a resurrection story. 1st photo popped up & I thought "that won't be too bad a project".
Then the 2nd photo - LOL! Okay, project is a little bit bigger than I first thought - but still very do-able. Look forward to following the journey.
Plan to do anything custom on the back or simply replace the bed? (Always been tempted to toss the bed & graft a small trailer on the back of a truck like I've seen done in Europe.) What are you thinking at this early stage?

I’m planning on 2.5-3”. The oem clamps were starting to loosen and fling grease everywhere. Its more for peace of mind.

ok that's what I'm at, not sure if 2.5 or 3 inches. I forgot to meaure before and after, but I'm level with 1.5 inches in the rear. Anyways my angles seem ok for now. I'll be going on my first off road trip with some people from TW at the end of the month. I'm excited.

I'm interested to see well these work. Are you going for around 3" of front lift?

Edit: Well, I guess it took me more than 13 minutes to reply as that's when you answered already. lol (I was checking out your build thread, and subbing)

If you're already raised I'd watch and wait on the OEM boots to split then upgrade. If you're planning to raise your truck I recommend to install the boots at the same time.

Did some dry runs on both the future fuel injectors upgrade and body work repairs this morning.
