Leaking Seal on Bed Rail

    So have an ongoing issue. I own a ARE CX topper that is not sealing to the bed rail. Water drips in from many locations, mainly from bed rail closest to the cab. I been having this problem since I got the topper. I feel it's the bed rail not even and allowing water to leak in. Anyone have suggestions to fix this? My installer has tried many times with no luck.

    my leer dealer says this is a problem with Tundras, udse a thicker gasket to get a good seal.

    Also check out the five screws along the utility track rail. You might need to remove it and seal the locating holes and use silicone on the screws. Also where the front bed panel meets the side panels at the seam, no amount of weatherstripping will seal it perfectly. I suggest a little black silicone to fill in that void and then reinstalling the topper with the thick foam that they posted above.

    Something else that I saw in another thread. The front window has drain holes in the aluminum casing. The drain holes are too small and will not drain quick enough before it reaches the seal of the glass around the aluminum. That causes the windows to weep. Someone drilled out the aluminum drain hole larger. Since you have a crew max you should be able to just roll down the back window to get to it.

    I don’t have a crew max I have a double cab. I will try the thicker seal that @PNW_Husky recommends. So over this leaking bed rail.

    Sorry miss read your sig. I still suggest removing the top, making sure you seal all those edge seems on the front panel. I have a soft fold vinyl bed cap. It leaks slightly. I looked for any daylight and sealed it which helped. I still need to remove my front utility track and seal all that up. I can tell in the picture you posted that yours is leaking from there as well.

    The problem is the plastic bed caps and the transition in the front corners.
