At approximately 30-35 mph if I let off the accelerator 3rd gear gears down way more than seems reasonable. I'm no mechanic but it just seems off. Is this normal? It's especially noticeable down hill.

Also noticed that with manual over ride regardless what gear you are in when you switch to manual it starts out at 4th gear. Seems like it would show what gear you are currently in?

Thanks. Never thought that would be explained in the manual. I even felt a real harsh down shift when applying heavy pressure to the brake yesterday to stop at a red light. Right before I came to a stop. Guess it's something I'll just have to get used to.

Not really a manual. When you put it in that mode it defaults to 4th. You shift up to 5 or 6. Or down. And the trans will stay in that range. Example. Put in 6th and it wall use all gears. Put in 3rd will use 1st 2nd and 3rd.
