Hello, new to this forum, but hoping someone might be able to help. Have a 2010 Tundra SR5, with some mods. I've owned this truck for 5+ years. I installed a new battery for the second time this week, replacing the Optima Red top that was only about 2 years old. One cold morning after a few days of not operating the truck it was dead enough to not turn over but lights and such would come on. Replaced it with a new cheap Autozone battery that morning so I could get to work. I noticed after doing this when I got to work I clicked the fob to lock and the truck locked, then unlocked and started! I didn't even know it had a remote start option? Then after about a minute, it turned off, & all the doors were unlocked. No matter what I did to attempt to lock the truck it would unlock, start, then shut off after a minute. Even when attempting to use the actual key in the door, it did the same thing. If I get in and press the brake it shuts off. As long as it's running, & I insert the key into the ignition and turn to on it works like normal. I never knew this truck had a remote start function, never used it before.

So that being said, how do I lock my truck now? Every time I use the key or fob to lock it, it will lock, then Unlock and Start. :annoyed:
