Looking for tires to fit on my BBS 20x9 +50 wheels with a 2.5 lift. I'm.gong with either K02 or Cooper AT3 XLT. From what I can tell through extensive searching, I have the following options:

    275/60r20 - no problem
275/65r20 - no problem, but maybe looks too tall?
285/60r20 - probably ok but close to UCA
295/60r20 - likely too close to UCA

Anyone with experience with these wheel specs who can shed some light or make recommendations? My main concern is the UCA clearance, not rubbing of fender liner or mudflap etc. Thanks.

That's good to know, thanks for posting. I'm guessing your wheels are 8", so I'm wondering if 9" makes a difference -- or the UCA clearance is a function of offset and tire size.

here is my truck with a 295-55-20 ridge grappler on a 20x9 +50mm offset wheel:

a few months ago, i did see a 295-60-20 ridge grappler on a 20x9 +50mm offset wheel on a tundra at a toyota dealership. the tire was VERY close to the UCA, but it still cleared. any reputable tire shop should be able to test fit a tire for you.

^^ Well that answers my question. Another half inch of tire height would make it way too close.

you could definitely fit a 285-60-20. for my next set of tires, i will try to go with a 295-60-20. i will have them test fit to make sure they clear.

Yes the 285 is probably what I'll end up with.
