I have a 2015 tundra with a 6 inch lift and 35’s. The front lugs keep coming loose. I’ve had a tire come completely off. They put new studs and lugs on but now the lugs are coming loose again. Any suggestions or anyone have a similar experience?

How many threads of engagement (turns) are you getting? What torque spec? Stock or aftermarket wheels? If aftermarket, do you have Extended length lug nuts?

Stealth Custom Series sells ET lugs at a decent price.

They are aftermarket wheels. All lugs are new and extended length. I’ve had them checked by two different tire shops and everything checked out. Everything is tight for a few weeks and eventually they start loosening. Tighten by hand and with torque wrench but still have the same problem.

Stud could be bottoming out in the lug if not the right length lug to compensate for the ET. Or could be a difference in lug seat angle between the wheel and lugs. Sure the ET portion of the lug is passing through the hole? Some wheels don't have the clearance for them.

I’m not a car guy so I’m not sure. I took it to two different tire shops that said they on properly but obviously there’s an issue they aren’t catching.

All of the above are good suggestions. Without a pic of the lug nut interfacing surface, lug stud and possibly the wheel off, it's hard to make a call.

Pull a lug nut off and post a pic of the stud and of the lug nut separately.

I would be willing to bet the studs were subjected to a rattle gun and over torqued.

Take a new lug nut, even a new factory lug nut and tread it onto the wheel stud by hand. If this is difficult to thread on, bet that’s the issue.

Installing new studs is not fun on bearing hubs and semi-floating rear axles.
