2000 Tundra rear end upgrade?

    So here's my deal. I just put in brand new spider gears in the rear end as one of them split in half and was floating around in the pumpkin... Crazy huh? So after replacing..within 60 days I have a lot of clunking and noise just like before. As I understand this is a Tacoma rear end..just like the brake system. So has anyone found an upgrade/interchange for the rear end? I really don't want to dump this truck but...just like the crappy brakes I am not going to keep replacing with stock items over and over...help please I love this truck....

    Throw a 9" under it and you will never have another problem. Far cry from bolt in though.

    Thanks to Nascar, you have endless options. You can go as simple and cheap as a junkyard housing or fully built fabricated housing with full floating axles and a nodular case. Literally hundreds of 9" vendors out there from mild to wild.
    The first gen tundra has a 66" width, so you'll probably want to stick with that. Econoline and F150's are your best bet for junkyard housings.
