    Of course not. That was a bitter loss. It was a great game. If we lost I'd be pissed fosho. The officiating was atrocious all season long. The only reason NO had home field "advantage" was because they got handed a victory over the Steelers.

    Questionable at most. We would of still had first seed by playing the panthers with starters. I doubt with starters we would of lost, but you never know.

    Yeah...the ref is even looking right at it.

    I showed that to The Woman. She doesn't follow football, has a very limited understanding of the game, didn't know which team I was rooting for and doesn't know what pass interference is. All I said was "There's the ball. That guy's trying to catch it. That guy is defence. What do you think of this play?"

    Her reply?

    "WTF? That looks so dirty. The guy in white is supposed to be trying for the ball, not ignoring it to hit the other guy. That was a penalty of some kind right!?"

    I went "Nope. Should have been.".

    She goes "The stupid ref is watching it happen! Is he blind!?"

    So if someone whose knowledge of football is "Ball goes that way then that way, tackle the guy with the ball" thinks it was a dirty play and blindly ignored by the ref, what else could it be?"
