***SOLD***Kenwood DNX994S HEADUNIT

I have a year old kenwood which is their higher end product. Comes with the dash kit and plug and play harnes made by randy at 12techvolts along with the idatalink maestro to retain most factory steering features . You will need to purchase the xm box and the adapter for the antenna. $550 obo. Unit is in great shape and works with no flaws.

I really want to. Just bought a sub as part of the group buy from tech12volts and would really love a new headunit. I also just spent $400 on new tools, $700 on a dirtydeeds BAmuffler which is in my garage still, a tank of oil for the house and just got caught up from xmas. But I really do want a new headunit. Hmmmm

 

I replaced her with the tablet screen by alpine that i purchased from @PNW_Husky had forsale. I like the bigger screen. The harness on mine was made to just plug in to stock no cutting or rewiring involved.

Waiting on the sub from James, installed a kenwood HU today and it’s night and day man! If I had not just installed that I would shipped mine back and bought this. Do it! Money ain’t got no home!

 

It def woke my stock speakers up. The things needed to get xm and the antenna adapter are the cheapest part of this unit that are needed. Also forgot to mention it does have apple and andriod auto.

 

When you're using the Android or CarPlay feature with this radio does it remain on that screen or does it revert back to the Kenwood screen [your last picture] once your source is playing?

Also if you don't use XM is there still a need for the antenna you speak of?

Once u utilize the andriod/apple it stays on but you can go back to the main kenwood screen to use the radio and or other options. Im a xm fan, but you dont need the xm if you dont want it. You need rhe attachment that plugs into the radio antenna plug. You can get this on Amazon.
