    Greetings Tundra Family!!!
I'm your host today "Baby Boy Tundra" and would to thank all of you for your support for allowing me to be connected to this Awesome Forum. I have been spending a substantial amount of time reading various post from everyone to gain some knowledge from the faithful Tundra lovers, and even listening to some biases of those who support other makes/models of trucks. I've been a Chevy guy all my life becuase that's all my dad drove, but my loyalties have changed "Tundra" Currently I am seeking to purchase a new truck but feel some way conflicted becuase of all the buzz surrounding the "New Gen Tundra " coming out. Also looking at the prices on some of the 2018's have not made it easy on me to purchase. I'm really balling on a budget, but I have this zeal to get what I want!!! "Platnuim"
But of course this type of transaction must be approved by the wifey who is resistant on spending the Mega Bucks on a Tundra and suggest an older model for less money. What are your thoughts? Can anyone assist in this matter? My concern is buying a older model then feeling buyers remorse if indeed I really like the "New Gen" A new truck would put me on top!!! I can then Ball at the stop light with the Big 3 and be like Baby Boy Tundra in the House!!! No disrespect to other brands but I feel I must represent. Baby Boy T is seeking advice from the Team!!! The Tundra posted is not mine I test drove it 2018 Platinum $39,000+38,000 miles the other I looked at was a 2014 Platnium $27,000+83,000 miles.

Welcome from CO. Both those Platinums looked like good deals. Not hard to show up the big 3 with a Tundra!

Welcome from another former lifelong Chevy devotee in SE PA!
I made the switch last year and love the decision that I made.
Good luck in your search for your Tundra!

Man I bought my 08 tundra 3 yrs ago I have never once looked back .In fact I like my old tundra as much as the new ones off the lot .Its all about what makes you happy .The one thing I can say is that my truck even with all the things I have done to it still drives like new with 80k miles on it. Buy what you can afford because I'm sure you will want to do some extra stuff to it right away .Leave some money on the table for that stuff. And welcome from IN

Welcome from Alabama. If you can fit it into your budget, get what you want. I'm 6 months into my 18 limited crew max 4x4. I love it, but wish I had spent the extra money & got a platinum.
