Wanting to put 33" tires the on my new Tundra was looking into the Bilstein 6112 fronts and 5160 rears but didn't know if I would need new spring for the front or what? Any recommendations on any setups for accommodating 32-33" tires? Thank you

You’ll fit 33” fine on stock

Yea but I'm looking to level off the truck not sure if I want to do the leveling kit, but more of a small suspension lift or different suspension adjustsadj to level it off. Any ideas?

If you’re just looking to level your truck, with a “small” suspension lift, get bilstein 5100s.

1.9” setting on the Bilstein 6112 coil over will level your truck. That coil over also included springs. You can buy them preassembled and all you do is swap your current set up for the new one, or you can utilize your old top hat of the coil over and save a little bit of money.

I personally have this set up, along with the Bilstein 5160 in the back. I’m running Toyo RT 275/70/18 which is 33.2”. I did not have to do the body mount chop, but I did have to remove the front mud flap or whatever it’s called.

    Good luck!

Yea that sounds great I just wasn't sure if I needed the new springs as well but sounds like I do need it. So if I just put those 6112s on the front at 1.9" and just leave the back the same but put in the 5160s should be level. I appreciate your help and input just bought my first 2018 Tundra crewmax trd of of road in cavalry blue.

With the 5160 reservoir do need to order a special bracket to hold those in a correct spot or what? Are those 5160s usable on the front or just the rear? Thanks for your help guys.

you can mount it however you like but Bilstein also sells a reservoir mount if you don't have a spot in mind

Congrats on the new purchase, how exciting!

The 5160 includes the piggyback mount/bracket and that is it. I would imagine they sell a mount for remote mounting, but not sure what the benefit would be. They’re designed to mount to the shock itself, so why reinvent the wheel? Lastly, the 5160 is made for rear mounting only, and the 6112 is made for front only. Hope all this info helps!

How does the 5160s compare to the stock shocks for towing and payload squat?
