2018 tundra headlight question

My girlfriend got me winjet headlights but the plug is for the halogen bulbs. I have the 2018 tundra with the led adjustable configuration is there any adapter yall know about I cant find anything. Mine is the 8 point the new are the 3 point.

 

Are you taking 18 LED headlights out to replace them with the winjets?

 

Yes the winjets are the led drl projection

 

I don’t think you can do it, most people want the new factory LEDs.

 

That seems to be the conclusion I like the factory ones but I wanted the meaner look

 

@Roman hey is there any other after market headlights for the 18 tundras that come stock with led aside from OEM or is there a wiring harness adapter?

 

Pretty sure you can get the Winjets to work. You might need something like a moto control from TRS? I dunno how to but I know it can be done.

 

Wonder if a @iHacker harness would work?

 

I need that but reverse I'm going to keep looking but I'll probably just hold off until I can find a headlight that is made to fit

 

how much do you want to sell your stock LED's for? I may be interested.

 

I’m pretty sure this headlights won’t work for a 2018+ truck, if you change the stock headlights be prepared to have some malfunction warning in the info screen.



I know only of one case were the stock housings were changed for a Retrofit then the problem started, headlight malfunction warnings all the time in the screen and the guy had sold the stock headlights.

The OEM headlights ballast communicates with the ECU and if the signal isn’t detected the main computer trigger the TSS warnings even if your new headlights are working.

Return the win jets and get the gloss black 2019 Pro LED Headlights.

 

I am going return them and work on other upgrades and let some time pass and see if anything comes out. If not then I'll go that route.

 

Not real sure on the aftermarket situation. Most people love the OEM headlights, and grab a harness adapter from @iHacker.
