4DB85C7D-149A-4915-9BA6-6D96FC4871E3.jpg I would like to thank everyone for the feedback. So I went with another Platinum! Traded the silver for the white. Got a pretty good deal. Now it’s the fun part. Ordered some N fab steps and going to grab some rims. Not sure if I’m going to lift it or not. Time to do some homework and talking with you guys.

Congrats on your new White Platinum Tundra!

I would highly recommend getting a clear film paint protector on the front of your truck and the sides of the rocker panels. I wish I did that from day one.

BDS Suspension Coilover kit includes Fox shocks. You can also upgrade to the dual speed control coilovers, which is not available on the pro.

If you have the dreaded cam tower leak in yours, then sell it and get a pro...50/50 chance you’re going to develop the leak. Don’t like fake hood scoops, then go Platinum.

Depends if it matters to someone, but looks like the fronts don't have the remote resi of OEM. The damping characteristics are also tuned differently. While probably a good piece of kit, I bet they perform at least a little differently.

My BDS 3” kit have resi’s. The Dual Speed control allows for 8 high speed settings and 10 low speed settings. I’ll also toss out that BDS is owned by Fox. I’m willing to bet that they made their setup superior to the ultra conservative Toyota setup.

Gotta say great choice, purchased mine on 26th if December. Spent 3 weeks trying to decide between pro and platinum myself. Went with platinum because I figure I could always upgrade suspension later but I wouldn't be able to upgrade the other options the platinums offer. I also got white

I went through the same dillema.

Wake up on day and think Pro, wake up the next and feel Platinum. The good thing about hard choices it indicates that both are good options. I went with the Platinum myself, and couldn't be happier.

The suite of sensors just makes driving it easy and enjoyable, and I've been keeping a running log of the funds put it into it to make it a "faux-pro." IMO, unless you really, really want the things exclusive to a pro (stamped bed, hood scoop, seat stitching), it's pretty hard to justify the cost. I got a Platinum with TRD exhaust for 7500 less than the Pro I was looking at.

I should also add that I recognize the TRD pro suspension is far superior to the 6112/5160 combo I am putting on my truck. That being said, I think it will due everything I want from it offroad, and there was just no way I was going to buy a pro and wheel it like my old Tacoma. With that logic, the high-end Fox set-up just didn't make sense to me.

I picked up my pro suspension on craigslist for $850 with under 30k miles on it. I figured this was a better route than spending almost as much for a simple leveling solution that wouldn't ride nearly as nice. Love the way it rides compared to the stock yellow Bilsteins, but not sure it's worth the ~$2600 or so that they charge new...agree there are better options when spending that much.

That’s a pretty good price for those shocks. Usually, people are getting 1500.00 for Pro Shocks.

Hell, right now I know someone selling a full King setup for a damn good price.

The way I look at it, if investing close to 1000.00 on shocks, you really have to decide if rebuildable ones are the way to go. Since Pro shocks are throw away, that hurts a bit.

There was another set on Phoenix Craigslist this past week for TRD Pro shocks $900, not sure if it's still up. I had Kings on my last truck (2012 Ram 2500 Mega Cab). The Kings were from Carli Suspension & Engineering, loved them.

I went with the upgraded interior and couldn’t be happier. I can make the suspension what I want for much less than the pro

I had to make a similar choice - 2020 platinum vs. 2019 Pro....when I went to by mine, they actually had an extremely low mileage 2019 pro on the lot. Ultimately I went with the platinum as well...not an easy choice for sure, but I am happy I went with the platinum and have been making external cosmetic mods to make it look more like the pro..while getting the creature comforts of the platinum...at some point I will be putting $$ to mod the suspension, wheels, exhaust and sound system...as I am not a big fan of how the JBL sounds...but I do use the car play a lot more than I thought.

How does the pro ride vs the platinum? My first tundra truck is a platinum. I wanted a pro but where I live don’t have it. There’s like 4-5 tundra in my area. All are rams, Silverado and Ford.

The pro should ride a little better because of the fox suspension, I think the pro could with both sway bars also.
