How was Cleghorn? At one time I lived 20min from the trailhead but for some reason never made it out there.

Cleghorn is basically two trails that intertwine. One trail is just a dirt road. 1 out of 10. The other has obstacles on it than are at most a 5. Because they intertwine, you can choose what obstacles you want to do if at all. This one below is of my truck going down the hardest one there called The Chute or the "skull and crossbones" (because it's marked as such) a few years ago..

Cleghorn can be as easy or hard as you want it to be. Weather was cold and windy but as always beautiful. There’s a lot of off-camber ruts that test your articulation so a locker(or two)is definitely a huge help.
It’s plenty wide enough for Tundras and a great beginner trail if you stay off the harder offshoots. FB8B1107-B197-4B70-A857-C054DB8F0F74.jpg26B0B542-ABD5-4610-BD6A-9CB7C399CF80.jpg FB5F380B-5A2F-4B21-989F-F73C7DA32DAD.jpg

I've ran it in our 4runner. I just wasnt sure how tight the more off camber sections were for our wide rigs.

Windy, cold, and pretty dry. It was still a great trip though.

As tight as you want it to be. If you stay on the main trail it's pretty much a fire road. As mentioned above it can be much tighter and difficult. It also can snow up there:

Considering selling my CrewMax under seat storage unit from ESP:
    https://www.esptruck.com/product-page/toyota-crewmax-rear-under-seat-storage-unit

I was thinking $275. I'm only getting rid of it because I'm redoing my whole back row. I've already removed the passenger side seat of the back row and now I'm removing the driver side and gutting the whole floor in the back. But I'll only do that if someone wants to buy the storage unit ..and I guess the seat will be for sale, too.

Was anybody from the San Diego area in Julian on New Years? I saw a few muddy Tundras, Tacos and 4 runners coming down while I was on my way up.

Not true, I was in my Honda Element trying not to be seen.

I didnt even make it up there though. The in laws wanted to head up early, when "early" turned into 1:30 I knew it was a bad idea. We got there and it was a bumper to bumper parking lot creep for 7 miles, uphill, and I was driving a manual. I aborted the mission after 2 miles, flipped a uturn and bailed. I did see a lot of muddy and snowy Toyotas though. One white tundra with a tent on the back caught my eye, overland style.

Sorry, Homie! I feel bad I put that on you. Now I know: you sometimes have to drive the other car... and you won't cheat on the Shannanigans.

Sorry that "in laws" happened to your Julien trip. They're probably nice people :D, but field trips with in-laws require the same patience as herding cats or school children. There must be a physical law pertaining to this.

Ha! It's okay, Brother. I know you're scared of the dark and creepy things are, well, creepy. Also, I'm sorry you were sick; that's a bummer way to start the New Year. I worked, which was the other bummer way to start the New Year. :( I don't mind work, but these last 4 nights were a drag. Glad we're through it, almost to the weekend. :woot:

    Yes, let's plan a party!!:yay::rockband:

On New Years, I was past out by 10pm LOL I didn’t even make it to midnight. But it’s all good, I had a great year all together

So let’s get the dialogue going. I’m thinking last weekend of Jan or first weekend of Feb? In and out, wheeling, off roading in Joshua Tree :eek2:

A few SGU guys headed to Parker, I think...? Bruce, would you wanna do a ridiculously easy dirt meet before or after? (And to be fair, I'm not for it if it pulls us away from The Project. I hope we'll be up to our elbows by the end of January....)

@BestGen would you be up for an easy (too easy) run with the local yokels between now and the Real Off-Roading you'll do when the BasTRD's come down? Looks like @Marty McFly can't get out til bra the end of January.@Porschetech29? @nishibot? Who else wants to play?!!

That last weekend in January is the big Tacoma meet-up at Superstition. Which isn't why I didn't tag @eccracer104 (oh, wait!), but another weekend he might join us for Shennanigans.

It kills me every time you offer up, because I always want to go!!! :angrygirl:

Once we get Banner's alter ego up and running ("Hulk Smash!"), I'll be there when you call!

Uh-oh! Tell us so we can send focused .

Or if there are HiPPA concerns, PM me... and I'll just tell the Prayer Group.

Seriously, let us know if you need anything! (Dirt therapy is the best medicine :D. Maybe by end of January you'll be up for easy... we seriously keep it easy.)
