I want to get an exhaust system, preferably dual rear exit. Need t to be affordable, and pretty loud. Any suggestions would help

Dirty Deeds pictured below, mine is single exhaust tips, stainless steel. Or the TRD exhaust system. They are similar in price.
    Good luck.

    Here’s my 8” Dirty Deeds!

He can go louder if you want. I love the sound of mine though. The beautiful part about @dirtydeeds is he can custom make you whatever you want!

Edit: I will say that I think the flow master outlaws are probably the loudest, but I am not a fan of the sound at all. Dirty Deeds is soooo much cleaner!

I have a dirty deeds muffler as well, but if all you want is cheap and loud, go to a local muffler shop and have them weld up a Flowmaster muffler or two. For a couple hundred bucks you can get all the noise and drone you can handle.

Not flowmaster, stay away from flowmaster on a first gen. You 5.7 guys crack me up wandering in here!

Look into Dirty Deeds, he makes an excellent set up for these trucks.

If that is out of your budget, have a muffler shop cut out your resonator (if equipped) and muffler. Have them weld the muffler of your choice where the stock muffler was, keeping the exhaust pipe that goes over the axle and out. Then run a 2.5" pipe from the y pipe to the new muffler.

I did this using a Spintech Prostreet muffler. Others have done it using glasspacks and such with good results. I would avoid anything chambered like a flowmaster, they tend to drone on these trucks.

Well, I'm the odd ball. I changed out just the muffler to a Borla muffler, sounds good, not as loud as the dirty deeds, but I'm getting older and out of the loud stage. I like a smooth rumble, no drone.

Our mufflers are hand built and can be made as loud or as quiet as you want. I consult with every customer over the phone to help determine the absolute best build for their situation.

But a Borla is a good design too. If happy with it no need to change it.

I kept the factory exhaust with chrome tip and switched out to a stainless Magnaflow and deleted the resonator. Not loud, but has a good sound with very minimal cab drone. $150 installed!

Thanks Rica25, Ill do just that when I install mine. I just don't like where the resonator is installed by the spare tire, per Dirty Deeds. I got a big spare tire.

That’s what I’m running now. I’d like to know what improvements you have seen?

I had the Gibson duel exhaust then switched to Magnaflow duel and did not like either but I was not a member here till about 1 yr ago and right before that is when I first heard of Dirtydeeds so got one ordered and that's the exact sound I had been looking for the last 9 yrs.

I’m thinking I would like to switch as well. I hate to eat all the money on the TRD but someone will hopefully scoop it up if I put it up for sale.
