    Most folks that learn how to drive in this weather dont forget.

    I am bagging on the meat missiles that think, 4wheel drive means 4wheel stop. Or the douches that are driving Subarus or Audis with full time all wheel thinking they still have traction on a 1/2 of packed snow or ice.
    These are the crayon eating, numbnuts that were using the guard rails as emergency stops.

    Tell me about it! I’m nowhere as experienced as you Coloradoians are, but in my time in Memphis, we had a few snow days (or should I say ICE days) I went into work even though it was voluntary. First time it snowed was actually my first time driving in weather like that. I was amazed at how many people think what you just said. I have great tires and performed flawlessly, but I knew anything short of metal spikes or those tank track things wouldn’t be effective without a healthy dose of common sense. Slow acceleration/braking, as tempting as it may be to speed up, DONT, keep 2-5 car lengths between you and the car in front of you depending on the situation/road conditions, if you’re not sure, don’t do it.

    It definitely further cemented my opinion that people are idiots.
