Wife says she doesn't like the el cheapo tonneau and why not get a shell like I had on the 04 (now driven by son). So I am looking for suggestions on the camper shell to get. Thanks.

I have the Leer 180 which gives an extra 20% rear cabin space. I really like the extra height inside and really don't see how guys get around inside when it's the regular version that aligns with front cab. As I camp, that extra height is crucial. You do lose about 1mpg in gas mileage. If you check around craigslist for first gen's for sale, one of them might have a matching cab you want and you can make an offer. That's the way I got mine. The guy had his 06' priced too high so he took my offer for the shell.

Some of the things that are convenient are removable the shell's interior front window (for longer haul length when you lower inside window or to clean either your cab rear window or shell window with ease), roof top tracks/racks, working interior dome light, hooked up brake light, (waterproof) side windows that either slide or open up providing access to interior (for work trucks), and locking rear window.

Any photos of said tonneau cover? Also where are you located? If the truck in your avatar is the truck you have, I have a color matched Snugtop I may consider trading.
