I just finished installing my TRD rear sway bar and noticed I forgot to use that little lube package on the bushing. Do you think I will have a problem? I'm not the best of mechanics I did manage this Mod was very easy except for that damn lube.

Hi Tom, it’s better to use the lube or you may experience some squeaking. It’s not a deal breaker but if it was me I would disassemble and use the lube.

Definitely go back and take it apart to lube it.

I always pose the question when I do something like this.

Would I like rods beining inserted in me with no lube?? No....just no.

I did the same mistake. Drove the truck for a few days and then disassembled just the bushing bracket to install the lube. Makes a big difference in the action of the sway bar. Before lube felt a sluggish reponse as that new rubber was gripping hard on the bar. After lube the spring out of the turns was a much more noticeable.

You’ll have to re-torque those u-bolts nuts anyway so might as well lube the bushings while under there.

So what you're saying is, as long as I bring lube it's game on?
