I purchased this truck several months ago and no problems with the nav until a week ago.

I have no papers for the nav or any idea on how to approach this.

I have pictures attached of the switch I press and the nav comes up (image 1)

Pic 2 is the home screen of the system

    3 is the error

It appears to be a windows system and I am an Apple guy.

    Any direction would be helpful.

My Garmin Nuvi 52 has never failed me. Ever. The thread title addresses "aftermarket" so I'm technically within the spirit of the thread.

I haven't done anything to change settings or try to rest the unit but it is now working! WTF! Not sure I can trust the unit now.

The navigation maps is naviextra program beyond that I have no idea

Did you hang an old fashioned metal coat hanger from the rear view mirror???

I pulled in the driveway and hit the accessory button and wham! I have an old backup garmon about 10 years old and will update it if this farts out again.

Sometimes tech just doesn't make sense to me.

Tech is widely credited with getting the phrase "work around" into the every day vernacular. Yup. Ya just may need a good ole fashioned work around. But hate that you will have paid for on-board navigation.
