I noticed that on my 2019 1794. It’s a neat feature.

 

You can also open and close your sunroof (if you have one) using the key in the door.

 

Had no idea about the auto crank. Nice.

How’d you do this on your 16 Tacoma? I have a 16 Tundra & don’t have the blink feature.

 

It's a new feature part of the 3rd gen Tacoma.

 

Didn't know about the auto crank either. I'll try it next time. Sure doesn't feel like it when I start it though.

 

I had to stop using auto crank on my truck. Every weekday when I drive my beater I kept doing it and kept having to crank it twice.

 

Don't worry about this... I bought a CM and didn't realize the rear window rolled down. So there's there.

 

I didn't know about any of this and feel stupider than usual. This forum really does have more purpose than trying to figure out how to spend more money, lol.

 

I discovered that on my 2018 I can turn off the beep when I lock/unlock via the remote. I left the blinking lights, though.

 

my 08 chevy 1500 had this. i miss it on my 12 tundra

 

I turned mine off too as I have on past vehicles. This is the first time though that I've considered turning it back on.

Sure wish I could disable the seat belt chime like I could on my 2007 Tacoma.

 

What he said...didn't know it either.

 

I was able to disable the seat belt chime on my 2016 SR5 with the Techstream program. Just FYI.
