Quicksand Alley

Finished the bedlining quicksand interior and frame of the trailer. I really like the color. Exterior of trailer next. Getting pretty stoked on bedlining my truck with this color soon.

OT but I saw a gen 2 in cement color and it looked bitchin

 

Awesome. It was either desert sand or cement. Wife wanted sand for trailer so that made the cut. Cement would have been easier for me to do on my truck as it’s silver, so door jams would have matched. But I think desert sand is wicked cool now that I see it in person

 

yes, a gen 3 color on a gen 2 will look really nice.

Well finished spraying the horse trailer today. Sprayed myself out of liner. Hopefully it passes my ladies inspection. Color looks awesome. Need to get this out of my shop so I can start prepping Tundra!! I also want to see it outside in the daylight real bad

 

What size lift and tires?

 

Pulled the trailer outside for a color inspection. Trim and wiring to go then wrapped up! How many Quicksand horse trailers you think there is?

When will we see this hooked up?

 

Soon enough. We’re headed to Mexico on the 14th so trying to finish it before. If not it will have to wait until the new year. I need to install the floor. Wire in the lights and install windows and doors handles. I know a lot of peeps don’t need like chrome but a horse trailer needs it. Installed checkerplate and half the door handles last night

 

No lift, just TC 3/4” shackles in rear.

Quicksand Trailer update: got most of the trim on. Lights and brakes are wired up. Floor is done. I need to silicone the roof joints. Install saddle stands and horse padding into the stalls. Then hooked up and start operation Quicksand Tundra!!

Haha, me too. I heard 2020 may be Army Green and that is probably going to be at the top for me

 

It’s legit done now! 14 months of shop space. So glad to be finished haha. #quicksandhorsetrailer

Oh and to the haters, there’s no such thing as a horse trailer without chrome haha. The truck won’t have any!
