Just picked up a 2019 Tundra, TRD Limited. Driving it on the highway today, at speeds between 60 and 80. Some parts of the drive were smooth and others the vehicle shook pretty bad. I tried slowing down and it didn’t seem to help. The entire vehicle shook. Anyone have any ideas what’s going on? Plan on returning to the dealer today and checking but wanted to check here as well.

Ditto on possible bed bounce. Usually happens where cement sections are used on the freeway. The 25 and 225 have them in places and is noticeable.

When I drive concrete highways the bounce is crazy. I get this when driving between Lone Tree and Castle Rock. And, nothing wrong with some bounce.

Welcome! I am from the Springs too. Where were you driving when you noticed the bounce, and, is yours a Double Cab or a Crew Max? My double cab bounces pretty well on parts of Powers and parts of I-25. As others have said though, take it to the dealer and have them check your tires. Maybe a balance weight came off?

faircloth1 it was driving on I25 up to Denver. From Monument to Castle Rock it was fine. Then from Castle Rock into Denver it would be good for four or five miles then shake the shit out of me for a mile or two. Then just kept repeating that. I tried slowing down from 60 down to 40 and no help. Hoping it is just out of balance tires. Got an apt at the dealership at 345. Hope they can fix it up for me.

That's a very shitty part of I-25. Most of the guys on here will attest to how horrible it is. My buddy drives an "extended" cab Titan and hates that stretch as well. Hope the dealership can find something for you!

    I had the same thing.

Took it to the dealer, they called it "lot rot" flat spots on the tire.

I drove it another week, went back and called BS. Asked them to check the balance, they did their Road Force Balance.

That seems to have fixed it. The truck has a little natural bounce, but the shaking stopped.

Check for intermittently sticking brake calipers that may have heated up your rotors to being out of round.

Update: Dealer said know issue with “every full size truck” in the concrete sections of I25. No fix available. Only options were to put a couple hundred pounds of weight to lessen the shake or sell them back my vehicle used. I have had this truck one week and have 300 miles on it. Will lose about 5-7K if I sell it back. At a loss. Love the truck but doesn’t make sense to keep a truck I can’t drive on the roads without shaking.

    Thoughts/advice appreciated

It's a 19. Takes some time to warp rotors even with defective calipers.
