LED headlights and Morimoto LED fogs installed on my 2018 SR5 CM.

    leds.jpg

The headlights are pretty easy, just follow the video that we've all seen to take the grill out and then the painted pieces out that are below the headlights. If you've got TSS like I do on my 2018, you'll need to unplug that connection before you try to remove the grill. There's a little Toyota stamped removable square to the right of the hood latch. See the two pictures below.

    tundra 1.jpg tundra 2.jpg

Fog replacement can be somewhat of a pain in the ass due to the cramped area and the removal of the front portion of the wheel well liner. My 2018 had two 10mm screws inside to remove along the edge, one of those plastic push rivets on the far inside of the wheel well, and then two 10mm screws and two 12mm screws underneath.
When you're taking the small front piece wheel well liner out, you'll have to deal with the bracket that holds it in on the outside edge. You only see the outside parts of the bracket. The majority of the bracket is on the inside of the wheel well liner. Once you take out the two 10mm screws and the four bottom screws, slip something between the bracket and the truck just enough so that you can slide the bracket out with the wheel well liner out. If you don't, you'll snap that bastard off on the inside and it'll fall to the bottom of the bumper. I think that I saw that happen in a video. I actually got lucky and had the headlights out while I did the Morimotos. Noticed that the bracket was one piece that held the wheel well liner.

    tundra 3.jpg

The last part is pinning the Morimotos correctly. See picture below for correct pinout.

    morimoto_xb_led_type_t_toyota_fog_lights_1_1.jpg

That's about it. I had to align my headlights afterwards using the 25 foot instructions from Headlight Revolution.
I'll add that you can use a drill to remove all the 10mm screws. But if you use a drill to put them back, put the drill on the lowest torque setting that your drill has. I'm talking the number one setting. Anything else and you could strip out the plastic nut/grommet. I would suggest using a ratchet to put them all back, including the two underneath the bumper for the fog replacement.
    https://youtu.be/uz0yRCyTP2w

Thanks to @Roman for the LED headlights and @Headlight Revolution for the Morimotos.

Thanks, it’s an awesome mod and pretty affordable all things considered. Definitely worth doing!

Same here, except I'm going back and forth on 19 pro and retro still. I do the same, use my BD squadrons as a high beam that I can turn off when people get pretty close without blinding them. The BD S8 I use as a longer range high beam when I'm alone on road. That 1 I turn off before I even go around a corner just in case. The fogs I can be more lax with, if I dont turn off before passing someone the other way it's not the end of the world. The s8 is much less forgiving so I'm extra careful. I've gotten really good at turning on and off the s8 with a push button switch to left of wheel blank, and the fogs on the stalk. I can turn both on and off within seconds with my eyes closed just based on repetition. Love my setup so.far, just wish I had a little better regular low beam headlight light. It's a million times better with HR led replacement than stock halogen in 16 pro housing, but still I yearn for better.

Yesterday-We have a big doe bedding down in our rhubarb patch, so I hauled some hay and setup a big ol bed for her with a mineral block, then ran the truck thru the touchless wash and rolled up the tonneau to dry up the bed. aAnd today we got rain..

Got my parts from CoolSpings but am disappointed that the 2019 TRD Pro Grill did not come with the Hood bulge and only the grill by itself. I was under the impression that the 2019 TRDPro grill would be the same package as the 2017TRD Pro and come with the bulge. To my disappointment it does not and now I have to spend extra Money and wait longer to get my grill set up. Wish this was disclosed in the original thread. Also, ordered my harness from Headlight revolution about a week ago and that still hasn’t come in yet. I guess this is the drawback from ordering things on Black Friday and in general not using Amazon to buy online.
Sometimes ones has to look at the ROI when it comes time for discounts and the vendors ability to meet the demand of those offered item on time and with quality service.

I've not put the resonator yet. I want to drive it for a week or two and see if I notice any drone first.

I’m considering purchasing this. Could you comment on how bright/ effective the light is?

All depends on whether or not you decide to retain the factory black grill. The grill does diffuse the light a little, but I still consider it bright enough to where you still wouldn’t drive down the road with it on; strictly offroad. Without the grill, forget about it, super bright for offroading only. I hope that helps.
