    I remember making my first skateboard from taking apart a skate and screwing the different 1/2s to the front and rear of a board. The wheels were steel and would stop instantly if you hit a piece of “p” gravel, launching you forward for a face plant

    When cassette tapes came out I had a Ford with an 8track player. I remember buying a weird looking adapter that allowed me to play both!

    I remember watching the original “Ben Hur” with Charlton Heston at the drive in! I might have been 6 or 7, in my dads VW bus in ‘Narlens, Loosianna.

    I have one of them in storage, mine hooked onto the rain rail of the roof. Nice because it doesn't make the door sag, terrible because it doesn't let the door open. Hence, it's in storage and not on my old car.

    Yep, I remember a few times going and getting a coat hanger for the job.

    Heck, that is another one. Wire coat hangers. Don't see those much any more.

    Actually was able to unlock my wife’s 05 Honda Accord with a wire hanger! Took the better part of 30 mins, BUT I PERSEVERED! :smokertransformer:

    ...when your first trucks “fresh air vent” was a lever down by your ankles that actually opened up a little hatch.
    (That was a 1950 3/4t Ford, btw)
