    Good afternoon all,

I recently read about the heroic actions by our fellow member @Pandra with his Tundra and also seen other videos online with people driving through these raging wildfires and was curious on how these vehicles get through this types of extreme heat? What are the maximum exterior temperatures these vehicles can operate in and for how long before overheating or something goes out? I personally don't own a Tundra but seen that it was a Tundra that went through the most severe conditions. Does having a tow package (bigger radiator etc.) make a big difference too in these types of conditions?

I personally do not own a Tundra, but come from a family that have owned and still own great Toyota's and personally owned an Avalon as well. I've been considering trading in early with my lease ('17 Maxima) to either get into a used 4runner (Can get 0% through a family member who is a finance manager a Toyota Dealership) or a new Rav4 depending on my negative equity etc.
