    bone stock for now..........
Help! I am new to the forum and just purchased a bone stock 2003 sr5 access cab 4x4 with a 3.4 v6, 5 speed manual trans.

It is bone stock and a one owner creampuff. It does need some personality.

I would like to go to 17 inch wheels/ tires and do a 2.5 lift.

Your ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It does not have the trd suspension.

I have never done a lift before and am wondering what would work the best. It will be used both as a commuter and off road on the weekends.

    Thank you!

It all depends on what your vision is for the truck and how you are going to use it. Most guys on here will suggest not cheaping out and going for coilover setup in the front and some add-a-leafs in the rear with new shocks. If you are mostly highway and street driving then some spacers and blocks (or Bilstein 5100's) will suffice and give you stance that you are looking for.
