Are you talking about upgrading to the 38 gallon or aftermarket?

What did you pay for that truck???? Assuming a new one is 50k, I'm guessing 14-15k????

If so, that is a smoking deal assuming its a clean title and looks as good in person as in the pics. 4wd/Crewmax/5.7 V8 trucks command a good premium over other Tundras from what I've noticed.

Anyways congrats on the new grey truck, grey might seem a little dull but man its easy to keep clean, easy to keep the swirls/dirt/crap/bird shit out of the paint vs a black or navy blue truck.

Nope. Just one little panel below the headlight.

    Welcome from AZ!

My 2010 just rolled 81k last month. Bought it last year.

    I still can't believe i scored a 2008 5.7 4X4 for $7,000. Drives like new, why spend 40K right?

Post pics of said truck . . .

I had a total loss wreck on my 2004 Tacoma, 2wd, 5 speed, reg cab, 2.4 liter engine, only options were a/c, styled steel wheels, carpet, it was a very basic truck. Insurance paid out $5900, truck had 190k on it, clean as a whistle, no dents, mint silver paint, like new interior, ran/drove like a new truck. Dad gave the truck to me, he bought it new in 2004 for $12,000 flat out the door, 190k miles/14 years later it was worth about half of what he bought it for new.

I have a hard time believing you bought said truck for $7000 unless it had like 500,000 miles on it or it was totally beat to shit with a bunch of issues.

    I made a thread on it https://www.tundras.com/threads/new-to-this-site-from-northern-va.34514/

Not sure where you live but in my area i see tons of 5.7 Tundra for under 10K, with the right negotiating, you can get one for 7-8K as well. Mine had a few things wrong with it.
