I've read many threads and discussions about high quality coilover systems from Icon, King, Fox, ADS etc. and many talk about blown shocks and all sorts of other issues. I'm not sure if there is any accurate data, but is one high-end system more reliable than another? Do 2.5 coilovers require less maintenance than 3.0 or is it only that 3.0 systems are likely to be run harder through the desert? Does a 3.0 system require more maintenance if it is not run as hard....I feel like I heard that in a video online, but may have made it up. Are non-resi systems more reliable despite less performance? In NorCal is there a good local suspension guru that can rebuild when the time comes or is it best to ship back to the manufacturer? Thanks and Happy Black Friday shopping!

I went back to doing research and remembered where I heard the comment with the race series Kings. It's at 1:14:40 of this video:

I'm not sure if that applies to the King 3.0 vs 2.5???
