Finally got a chance to wash my truck for the first time since the hurricane and noticed this nasty bastard when I climbed on the toolbox to wash the roof:

Any ideas on if this is even something that can be fixed? Insurance guy didn’t even notice it...cut me a check for the body work on the passenger side that needs to be done.

Take it back and have it reassessment. That’s pretty sad on the inspector not noticing that damage.

Lesson learned, always look for damage yourself to compare what the adjuster found. I watched adjusters assess damage before. The few I've seen don't really care to find every little detail. Which can casually save the insurance company money.

Ouch. That sucks. Definately call insurance and get the guy back. They need to cover everything.

    Supplemental estimate.
Its not unusual to find additional damage that needs to be addressed once the actual repair work commences.

sucks though. I've realized that other people usually don't care about my stuff as much as I do.
