who makes the preferred cab mount chop plate?

    are any one better then any other? i know of relentless and i think sdhq has them. suggestions? do one or the other allow more clearance?

    Does everyone actually fill them in on Tundras? On 4runners and tacomas I know people do but it doesn't really have to be capped. I'm glad I left mine uncapped on the 4runner since I've got back to trim more a couple times now.

    Edit just saw you mentioned them. Not sure how they compare to the others.

    I went with Relentless. They are curved to give the tires an extra 1 1/4 inches of clearance and they are only $24.99.

    I'm not aware of any fab shops in nw Ohio that do this type of thing. That's why I was looking for the plates to do it myself. I think they will be needed with my new wheel and tire set up.

    I agree with most, make your own. That way the fit up is perfect. If you have the tools to cut your cab mount then those tools can cut plate for capping.
