I like this idea too. I understand you guys are talking about a Riverside/ Orange meet, but I don't want to miss out on anything. :angrygirl:

Probably won't drive all that way for In n Out, but I would for proper food, or a bonfire. :bananadead:

80% of these tents all come from the same 3 or 4 manufactures. The different companies just put their names on them to charge more. Check it out in person and then go for it.

We'll see. I will in front, if I can. The problem is, I am very reliant on others to help me figure out what I can do. It sounds like 2.5 ADS is the longest shocks for the front, with extended total chaos upper (heim) and lower control arms. I say that, because I've seen it, but I have no idea how to spec it. And until that happens, I won't know for sure that I will afford it. But I definitely will if I can! PapaSmurf convinced me to try to go long travel in front and mid travel at the back.

@Sunnier your on a serious spending spree. I need to stay away from you if not I’m going to end up in trouble. But on another note a beach bonfire and meet would be pretty awesome I think. Or the Rancho meet would be pretty cool also.

Anyone know of a beach with parking for this many Big Ass Tundras? I looked into it at the beginning of summer and, without local knowledge and relying on online searches, pretty much found a bunch of cool camping... but with reservations booked months out.

All this IE talk is making me homesick :puke:
Let's just pull in the river bottom off Jurupa and camp in tents. Might wake up to wild boars and West Nile Virus but I'm sure there would be stories to tell for years.

Oh yeah! I've um... drove rapidly sideways there hoping it was an annex parking lot. The incline getting in required some good momentum.

The only one in SoCal is Fiesta Island in San Diego. That's where all the truck meets usually happen.

i'm down to meet... i work saturday morning (early early morning) so an IE location is doable , beach location probably isnt :(

I'm in Riverside so even Rancho could work.

There is an In-n-Out in south corona off the 15 and ontario exit...
    -or-
There's an In-n-Out off the 15 and 2nd street in Norco with big pakinglot, its across the street from a pool hall which might be fun

I guess it depends on if someone is bankrolling this thing as an event? Carlsbad State Beach Park in Carlsbad is a 1 mile long campground which also has a very spacious area with parking inside the facility and lots of public parking just outside (since it's winter the tourists are gone, after the surfers go to work it's wide open until they come back to ride the waves again) The park has a private area that they specifically rent/lease/whatever out to things like surf camps but I have no idea how any of that works.

As a state park access is free (not counting the internal parking access, only the external parking would be free, we'd need someone to talk to the Parks to figure out how that works), there's some picnic tables, there's fantastic ocean views, there's beach access if you want to go boogie boarding or whatever, and since it's not summer the tourist season is over and it shouldn't be a problem?

    It's an option!
