I recently purchased a 2012 Tundra 4X4 double cab that has a two inch lift, spacers on the front and blocks on the rear. I would like to remove the lift to make the truck a little easier for my wife and daughter to get in and out of but I am concerned about what will be affected. Do I need to worry about steering geometry or the rear shocks?

Any advice would be appreciated. Here are some pictures of the spacers / blocks:

    Thanks in advance,

assuming you have stock rear shocks? if so, you'll just need an alignment afterwards

also, you could remove the rear block and you may have a level stance afterwards, still should make it easier for the wife and kids but will still have the 'lift" look

What about steps? If easier to get in, is what your after? A set of those electric drop downs perhaps?

save yourself the trouble and just buy some 5100's for barely any more money.

trd's come with bilstein shocks (yellow and blue) but not a shock that is designed to have adjustable lift height like 5100's. levelling done the right way.

I might still have to do that after removing the lift. My wife and daughter are both pretty short.

I will almost certainly remove the lift if it does not create any problems. There are several reasons I would like to remove the lift, with making it easier for my wife and daughter to get in / out the main one. Other reasons are:
    • I don't want to buy new ball mounts for my trailers
    • Access to the bed from the sides would be better. The truck will have a contractor shell with three doors.
    • I won't be compelled to buy Mickey Thompson 36 inch baja belted tires
    You get the idea.

    Best,
